Xingkui Mao

Fuzhou University, China


Xingkui Mao, PhD, doctoral supervisor, Professor of Fuzhou University, P.R.C, deputy director of FujianProvinceKey Laboratory of New Energy Power Generation and Power Conversion, director of Fuzhou University New Energy and Energy Storage Application Technology Research Center, senior visiting scholar of Denmark University of Science and Technology, former deputy secretary-general of Transformer and Inductor Special Committee of China Power Supply Society. He has been selected as one of Outstanding Youthof Fujian Province Universities and won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of Fujian Province, as well as the Inspiring Award for Outstanding Young Teachers and the first Prize for teaching of Fuzhou University.

He is mainly engaged indata center power supply, new energy generation and energy storage, wireless power transfer, high-frequency magneticcomponents of power electronics. He has presided lots of research projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Young Researchers Fund of Fujian Province Universities, etc. He has also conducted in-depth technical research and development cooperation with well-known companies such as Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd and China Railway Electrification Bureau Group Co.,Ltd. He has served as reviewers for the National Natural Science Foundation of China,and academic journals and conference for IEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Trans. on Power Electronics, IEEE Trans. on Magnetics, IEEE APEC,IEEE ECCE,etc. He has published more than100 papers includinginIEEE Trans. on Industrial Electronics,IEEE Trans. on Power Electronics,etc,and applied for nearly 30 patents.


Bo Cheng

Northwestern Polytechnical University, China

Cheng Bo, Associate Professor at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), was selected for the 2024 Shaanxi Province Talent Program. He received joint doctoral training from NPU and San Diego State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research focuses on underwater electric propulsion systems and underwater wireless power transfer. He has led four national projects under the "14th Five-Year Plan," directed one sub-project of a major national special project, and participated in more than ten national key research and development projects. He has published over 20 related academic papers, with more than ten as the first or corresponding author in journals such as Applied Thermal Engineering and IEEE Transactions on Magnetics. Additionally, he holds over 20 patents in electric propulsion systems and wireless power transfer.

Chenwen Cheng

Southeast University, China


Chenwen Cheng obtained his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2012 and his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same university in 2017. From January 2018 to January 2021, he conducted postdoctoral research at San Diego State University in the United States. In March 2021, he joined the School of Electrical Engineering of Southeast University. He has led several projects such as the Youth Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 20 papers in IEEE journals, holds or has applied for more than 10 invention patents, serves as a reviewer for international top-tier journals, chaired sessions at multiple international conferences. His research interests include wireless power transfer, high-frequency resonant converters, motor control, and renewable energy grid-connected systems.


Yu Gu

Tianjin University, China

Yu Gu is an Assistant Researcher at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Tianjin University. He received his B.Eng. degree in automation from Tianjin University in 2018, and his Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from Tianjin University in 2024. His current research interests include Wireless Power Transfer and Energy Management Control. He has published one academic book in English by Cambridge University Press (first author by his supervisor and second author by himself). As the first author, he has published nearly 10 IEEE journal articles, including 5 papers in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (TII), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics (TIE), IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics (TPE) and IEEE Industrial Electronics Magazine (IEM). He is the chairman of IEEE IES Tianjin University Student Branch Chapter and was awarded the honours of Outstanding Graduate, Science and Innovation Role Model, and the First Prize of Doctoral Student Conference in Tianjin University.
